The Valorant Tier List: Who’s the Best?

Here are the best Valorant agents for Season 2025, Act 2. We’ve put them into different groups, like grades in school, to show you how good they are:

S-Tier: The Super Stars!

These are the best agents in Valorant, hands down! If you want to win more games and look awesome doing it, pick one of these. They’re super strong and can handle almost anything the other team throws at them.

  • Tejo: Imagine a ninja who can throw fire and see through walls! That’s Tejo! He’s amazing at finding enemies hiding in corners and making it easy for his team to attack. He’s a little weak at flashing enemies (making them blind for a bit), but if your team has someone else who can flash, Tejo is unstoppable.
  • Clove: Don’t let the name “Controller” fool you. Clove is like a sneaky ninja ghost! They can throw smokes to block enemy vision, just like other controllers. But Clove is way more than that! They can hurt enemies with a special blast and even steal health from enemies they defeat! And get this – if Clove dies with their special power ready, they can come back to life! Clove is like a super-powered mix of different agent types!
  • Raze: Okay, Raze might seem simple, but she’s seriously powerful. She’s like a walking explosion expert! She has grenades that explode into lots of little bombs and even a rocket launcher for her ultimate! Raze is the best at clearing out enemy traps and pushing onto sites quickly. She can also use her bombs to jump to high places and surprise enemies. Learning to use her bombs to jump is tricky, but once you get it, Raze is amazing!
  • Vyse: If you want to make enemies super annoyed, pick Vyse! She’s like a master of traps. She can set up hidden walls that pop up when enemies get too close – perfect for stopping enemies from rushing in! Her other traps and her ultimate ability, which takes away enemy guns, are also super strong, especially when your team doesn’t have much money. Plus, Vyse just looks really cool!

A-Tier: Almost the Best!

These valorant best agents are still amazing and can totally help you win. They might not be quite as strong as the S-Tier agents, but they’re still awesome choices. If you can’t play an S-Tier agent, these guys are perfect!

  • Yoru: Yoru is the trickster! He can make fake copies of himself to confuse enemies and teleport around the map. He also has flashes to blind enemies. His ultimate is super cool – he turns invisible and can run around spying on the other team! Yoru is really fun to play and can trick enemies easily.
  • Deadlock: Deadlock is the ultimate teammate! She’s all about defense and helping her team. She has traps that can grab enemies and walls that can block them. Her best ability is her sensor, which finds enemies and makes them slow and dizzy. Deadlock is best when you talk to your team and plan together!
  • Cypher: Cypher is the spy master! He sets up cameras and traps to watch for enemies. He’s really good at knowing where the other team is. His ultimate ability can reveal all the enemies nearby, which is super helpful for attacking or defending.
  • Jett: Jett is super fast and loves to take risks! She’s like a ninja with the wind. She can dash, jump super high, and throw smoke clouds. The best Jett players are amazing at using her knives in her ultimate and zooming around the map to surprise enemies. She’s perfect for players who are confident in their shooting skills!
  • Iso: Iso is a cool duelist who’s great for teamwork. He can make a wall that blocks bullets and throw an orb that makes enemies weak. He’s also awesome at 1-on-1 fights. His special ability lets him block bullets, and his ultimate pulls an enemy into a duel – winner takes all!
  • Neon: Neon is all about speed! She can run super fast and zoom around the map. She can also make walls of energy to block enemies and throw electric bolts to stun them. Neon is super fun and fast, but you need to be good at aiming while moving quickly!
  • Sova: Sova is the master of finding enemies! He’s like a super scout. He has arrows that can see enemies and drones that can fly around and spot them. His ultimate is a powerful laser that can shoot through walls and get free kills! Sova is amazing at helping his team know where the enemies are.
  • Gekko: Gekko is like a Pokemon trainer, but with bombs and flashes! He has little creatures that can flash enemies, plant or defuse the bomb, and even explode! Gekko is great because he can use his abilities over and over again. He’s good on his own, but even better with a team!
  • Killjoy: Killjoy is the queen of defense! She sets up turrets and bombs to protect sites. Her gadgets can tell her where enemies are without her even being there! Her ultimate ability is a giant lockdown device that traps enemies – perfect for stopping pushes or taking back a site!
  • Omen: Omen is mysterious and sneaky. He can teleport around, throw flashes, and use smokes. He’s hard to predict, which makes him tricky for enemies to deal with. He’s great for new players, but as you play against better players, he can be a little easier to figure out.
  • Brimstone: Brimstone is the leader! He’s a simple but super effective controller. He has smokes that last a long time, a speed boost for his team, and a fire grenade and ultimate rocket strike to clear out enemies. Brimstone is reliable and always helpful!
  • Phoenix: Phoenix is a fiery duelist who can do a bit of everything. He can heal himself with fire, throw fire walls, and flash enemies. His ultimate lets him run in and fight without risk – if he dies, he just comes back! Phoenix is great for players who want to carry their team.
  • Sage: Sage is the healer! She’s the only agent who can heal teammates and even bring them back to life! She also has walls to block enemies and slow orbs to slow them down. Sage is super important for keeping your team alive!

B-Tier: Good, But Not Top Tier

These agents are still useful, but they might be a bit harder to win with right now. They can be good in certain situations, but they’re not always the best choices.

  • Chamber: Chamber is the stylish sniper! He’s really good with guns, especially snipers. He can teleport short distances and has a pistol and sniper rifle as abilities. Chamber is strong if you’re a great shot, but if you’re not, he can be tough to play.
  • Viper: Viper is the poison expert! She uses poison smokes and walls to control areas and hurt enemies over time. She’s amazing at defending sites after the bomb is planted. Viper is tricky to learn, but if you master her, she can lock down a site all by herself!
  • Breach: Breach is the disruptor! He uses earthquakes and flashes to mess up the enemy team. He can stun enemies through walls and make it easy for his team to push in. Breach is hard to play well, and you need to know how to use his abilities without hurting your own team!
  • Skye: Skye is the nature initiator! She can send out a hawk to flash enemies and a wolf to find them. She can also heal her teammates a little bit. Skye is good at both attacking and defending, especially on smaller maps.
  • Fade: Fade is the hunter! She uses nightmares to find and trap enemies. She can find enemies hiding in corners and pull them out into the open. Her ultimate ability makes enemies scared and easy to kill.
  • Astra: Astra is the cosmic controller! She can place stars around the map and then use them to smoke, stun, or pull enemies. She plays very differently from other controllers and is hard to master. But a good Astra player can control the whole map!
  • Reyna: Reyna is all about getting kills! She can blind enemies and heal herself after getting a kill. She’s super strong if you’re getting lots of kills, but if you’re not, she’s not as helpful to the team. Reyna is best for players who are confident in their aim.

C-Tier: Okay, But Hard to Use

These agents might struggle against the better agents. You can still play them, but it might be harder to win. They need a lot of practice to be good with.

  • Waylay: Waylay is new and still figuring things out! She’s a duelist who can dash and block vision, but she’s not as good at getting kills on her own as other duelists. She might be better in teams that play together a lot, but for now, she’s a bit weak.
  • KAY/O: KAY/O is the robot agent! He can stop enemies from using their abilities. He’s good against teams that rely a lot on abilities. KAY/O is easy to learn, but hard to master. He can be really strong in the right hands!

D-Tier: Not Recommended

These agents are usually not the best choices. They might be fun to play, but they’re not very strong compared to other agents.

  • Harbor: Harbor is the water controller. He uses water walls and shields to block vision and bullets. But his abilities are not as strong as other controllers. His smokes are okay, but his ultimate ability is not very helpful. Harbor is probably the weakest agent right now.
